HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Since 2010
My name is Sherri Tresvant and I am the proud founder and owner of Busy Bee Learning Center. I hold a B.S. from University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) and a M.A. in Child Psychology from Bowie State University.
I begin working with children right out of highschool and it has been a passion ever since. With over 10 years of experience working in early childhood development my enthusiasm to provide children of all ages with customizable learning environments continues to expand.
Much of practical training in childcare first began as an Assistant Teacher at the head start program in Landsdowne, MD that later lead to a role as Lead Teacher at the program in Catonsville, MD. Later, I studied in-depth through college courses and internships the mind and child development which has provided me the foundation to open a learning center. However it wasn't until 2014 after I had my son and began raising a very special, inquisitive and kind child that I knew there was a need for a learning center that would treat each child like their own.
I am blessed to have a huge, growing family with many nieces, nephews and cousins who serve as continuing education daily.

We’ve been serving the community of Milford Mill as a developing learning center since 2018, and are proud to have been the home away from home for many families.
Busy Bee Learning Center offers a reputable child development program that is customizable for each child's needs. We offer three different classes that breaks our Busy Bee's up into their respective learning environments. Our professional and nurturing staff provides a flexible learning environment that puts the children and parents at ease. All of our staff has been thoroughly vetted for their child-care , teaching and safety skills. We require each staff member to go through CPR training as well as center specific policy and procedures training.
